PRESIDENT – COLIN POCOCK
As president, Colin is responsible for all club business and activities.  He chairs our committee meetings and monthly general meetings, and helps to arrange guest speakers.  Colin also supervises and delegates duties to the committee members, liaises between club and other interested parties, and attends club functions and events.  His other duties include attending special meetings with HSV or other organisations that could benefit and be of interest to the club.

Jill Cain works in close co-operation with president Colin. She  must keep up with club activities and be as knowledgeable as the President over club matters. The Vice President must also contribute to the achievements and activities of the club.

TREASURER – DIANNE THOMAS
Dianne arranges and manages the club’s financial affairs.  This includes the lodging of club financial statements with Corporate Affairs annually and GST related statements when required.  Dianne presents an accurate monthly report to members at club meetings, and prepares expenditure budgets by which the club operates.

SECRETARY – HELEN KEEGAN
Helen’s duties are to record minutes of the various meetings, present the minutes of the meetings to
the members and for publication in the magazine, and deal with all incoming and outgoing correspondence.

MEMBERSHIP OFFICER – SIMONE GREEN
Simone, as her title would suggest,  handles and processes  enquiries regarding membership. She also maintains an up to date register of all club members and an up to date club mailing list.  She issues renewal notices,  liaises with CAMS and the Treasurer regarding members CAMS affiliation and fees, and checks with HSV regarding the eligibility and authenticity of vehicles.

MOTORSPORT COORDINATOR – CARL JONES & Chris Kelly
The Motorsport coordinator sets up and runs the club’s motorsport activities for the year.  They do the paperwork, book the tracks, organise the officials, prepare the results and organise and present the trophies.

APPAREL and MERCHANDISING – JEANETTE TYRRELL
Jeanette sources, supervises the design of, and orders club merchandise for sale to the members.  She displays available apparel at club meetings.

Helen and Paul organise all the social and special events you’ll see listed on this website.  They cater for all members interests with events like DECA, hillclimbs, gokarting, winery tours, mystery drives and the club’s Christmas Party.

CONCOURSE/SHOW’N’SHINE – Russell Brown
Organising all concourse and show ‘n’ shine events, including Good Friday Royal Children’s Hospital Southbank display, and many others.  This coordinator also facilitates similar events throughout the year run by the club or other parties,  provides entry forms and organises and presents trophies.

MAGAZINE EDITOR – STEPHEN RENFREE
Stephen writes, compiles, edits, produces and mails the monthly magazine, Torque ‘n’8s, to members.  The magazine attempts to meet the general interests of the membership in the areas of automotive news and general interest topics.  Member’s articles are welcomes and encouraged. Stephen also manages and coordinates the magazine’s classified advertising.
